PhD position — Department of Engineering, University of Luxembourg

I am recruiting a doctoral candidate to join my group in the Department of Engineering at the University of Luxembourg, with an expected start in 2027. The project will focus on an interdisciplinary topic combining machine learning, high-performance computing and fluid dynamics.

PhD position — YADIAS Doctoral Fellow Programme

I am looking for candidates interested in pursuing a PhD at the interface of physics, machine learning, and high-performance computing.

The position is expected to be funded through the YADIAS Doctoral Fellow Programme, which promotes interdisciplinary research and international collaboration. The project would be hosted at the University of Luxembourg, with international collaboration involving Harvard University (CSElab). The exact research project will be defined together with the selected candidate. Potential application areas include turbulent flows, combustion, plasma physics, inverse problems, scientific computing, and multiphysics modeling. Applicants should hold an MSc degree by the application deadline (November 2026).
